Happy New Year! Growing up here in the Santa Ynez Valley, I knew this place was special. But coming back here as an adult to raise my family has given me a deep appreciation for this place. There is something about the air, the light, the land that is different than other beautiful places. Especially this time of year, when the afternoon light hits the verdant green mountains above the vineyard…magic happens.  

This is my home (so I may be bias) but this place is part of what makes our wine so special. We love and care for the land where the vines grow. This is not just a business for us, it is a way of life and hopefully will be for generations. As we go through harvest, we carry that sentiment with us. We are stewards of the land, doing the best we can for the vines, for the land, for our family, and for you our wine family. We are bringing the magic of the land to you in the bottle.

With the stunning 2019 harvest behind us we are preparing to bottle our 2019 Piocho Sauvignon Blanc from “Davey’s Block” and our 2019 Piocho Rosé! The wine is lively, beautiful and comparable to the the best vintages we have ever bottled!

This is an amazing time to come visit the vineyard.
