2012 HAPPY CANYON VINEYARD PIOCHO

The nose has notes of dark cherries, earth, cedar wood, raspberries, and plums. On the palate the wine is richly concentrated, beautifully focused, with deep-set dark cherry, chocolate, cedar flavors, complimented with black olive and fine-grain tannins. The wine continues with red and black plums, saddle leather, berries and dusty tannins.  The wine is wonderful to drink today and will continue to evolve in balance, length and complexity as the more structured Cabernet Sauvignon matures.  This wine will continue to develop and excel over the next ten years.
