A Letter from the General Manager

Dear Happy Canyon Vineyards Friends and Family:

It’s an exciting time here at Happy Canyon Vineyards.   First, I started as the General Manager a couple of months ago and the family and I have put together a great plan to share the wines we love with you, our most valued family, friends and customers.   While I may be a new employee of Happy Canyon Vineyards, I’ve been a part of the Barrack family for well over a decade.  I was blessed to marry Jodi, right here on Piocho Ranch 12 years ago.  We planted the finest block of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that year, and to this day block 8 is known as Jodi’s block!  My role here entails a little bit of everything, but my highest priority is to give you the opportunity to experience what we do at Piocho Ranch,  and enjoy our outstanding wines.  Please don’t ever hesitate to contact me personally so I can answer your questions or help you find the wines you want: sean@happycanyonvineyard.com, 805-203-0749.  Secondly, we have updated our website and are proud to be launching our wine club.  With this launch we are introducing some great offers and specials.  Check them out below!  Lastly, on behalf of the Barrack Family, thank you for joining us, and we look forward hearing from you and seeing you in the near future.

August 4th, 2013: Weekend Swirl @ Bellavino Wine Bar.  Come taste Happy Canyon Vineyards wines along with other great wines from around the world and get great deals on purchases.  3709 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.  Westlake Village, CA, 2:00 – 5:00PM.   $15pp gets admission to try 15+ wines.  Dinner starting at 3:00 PM.  Live music with starting at 5:00PM.
September 1, 2013: Join us at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club to watch polo and enjoy Happy Canyon Vineyards wines.  3375 Foothill Road #1200 Carpinteria, CA 93013, Time TBD.

Fun Facts!

Piocho is the name of our Ranch, our Polo team, and our flagship Bordeaux varietal wine.  It is a Chumash Indian word meaning “Where two rivers meet and go to heaven”
